There are a few ways in MS Word to create two-column documents. If you’re formatting a document with just text, it’s easier to use the Columns feature of Word than it is to use tables.
If, however, you want to have more control over the width of columns, or to use pictures in one column and text in another, try using tables instead. You’ll have more control over your columns this way.
This group of tutorials will be split up into several topics:
- Creating a two-column table
- Inserting pictures in tables
- Typing text in tables
- Numbered lists in tables
- Headings across two columns
- Changing column widths
